This documentary has so much heart.
It’s built up to make you feel calm, happier, maybe a bit hopeful. That part is my contribution.
What makes the Isle of Rum so wonderful are the three people we get to meet, Dave, Kim and Fergus.
Its the world their community has built.
By no means the “everything is perfect and we all get along” cult version of island living but real community, the one we have all deeply longed for in the past years, the one we need right now. You see that they all depend on each other, they hang out, they have boundaries, they are fun and they eat. So much eating.
This is also where my heart lies.
These wonderful people, these worlds you get to experience.
